Carrie Chalmers is a photographer living in Ithaca since 2000. She received a BFA from NYU’s Tisch
School of the Arts, and worked at the New York bureau of Magnum Photos as a researcher, archivist,
and editor. In Washington, DC, she did freelance photo editing and production assistance for The
Washington Post Magazine, US News & World Report, and Condé Nast Traveler. In addition to The
Working Relationship, she pursues her own art projects and has a day job at Cornell University.

Graham McDougal was born in Edinburgh, Scotland and is currently based in Ithaca, teaching at Cornell
University. He studied at Cumbria College of Art and Design, Carlisle, England and at Duncan of
Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee, Scotland, and received his MFA from Southern Illinois University,
Carbondale in 2001. He exhibits regionally, nationally and internationally.

Wilka Roig was born and raised in Puerto Rico, and based in Ithaca since 1995. She is a practicing artist
in photography, performance and installation. She received an MFA from Cornell University in 2005, where
she worked as Visiting Lecturer and was Merrill Presidential Scholars Outstanding Educator in 2008. She
is vice-chair for the City of Ithaca’s Public Art Commission and board member of INHS. Wilka exhibits
regionally, nationally, and internationally.
